Still waiting. We visited the midwife yesterday afternoon.

The baby has begun to descend into Jan's pelvis. The extent of the descent is defined on a scale that ranges from -3 to +3, with 0 meaning "engaged" and +3 meaning the widdle baby's head is poking through the uterus. Our baby is in the -1 station of delivery. The uterus is effacing but not dilating--not unusual.

If nothing happens this weekend, Jan takes a Non-Stress Test (an oxymoron if I ever heard one) on Monday and options for induction begin to be discussed.
