Close Encounters of the 10-month-old Kind
Ah, yes. The exersaucer. I was initially opposed to the exersaucer. For a couple reasons: 1) We hardly need any more plastic in the house; and b) I always thought they somehow actually worked to stunt a child's imagination in playtime -- y'know, trapping her in this gyroscopic sling with a limited number of repetitive activities to occupy her time (sounds a lot like my cubicle at work sometimes...). But Jan and Grandma Becky worked on me until I broke down. I now admit that I was wrong on the second part. Helena loves the thing. She hates sitting in it, but it has become a nice supplemental play station of sorts.
And a great place for her to keep her Cheerios.
